Was your power input 200mw on the horizontal test loop last night??? If that
is true and it indeed did have a skywave, then a person could put up a full
size horizontal loop and get a signal on the band if that is all a person
could do for an antenna. So it works, but just not so well. Excellent test
you did there Bill; much appreciated work.

I got one of those function generator chips quite a while ago but haven't
done anything with it yet as well as too many other projects mind you. Hi

Not I! Funny thing though: I was thinking earlier today on new ways to use
the varicap modulator in my exciter and the sine wave came to mind. One of
those 8030 function generator chips would do this nicely. Could make the
sine change frequencies under program control with the VCO input. Wonder how
well Mr ARGO would do with a sine wave compared to other modulations

BTW, I looked over your captures from last night and it looks like there was
only a very small trace of the test loop (same with Mitch's captures). Lloyd
had by far the most to show of that loop.
