How about a baseline drift across the screen approximating a climb up Mt 
Everest? When set up for a typical QRSS30 signal the whole vertical axis of 
the ARGO screen represents only 6 Hz or so. At 185 kHz 6 Hz is only a drift 
of .0032%. Now to make the baseline exactly horizontal the percentage drift 
REALLY needs to be small - and that requires a pretty descent receiver.
