[Lowfer] Rx Conditions N IL

Last night my mood improved as LowFER sigs reappeared on Argo. One of
my better station "surgeries"? Naw, conditions, I guess. Back was LEK,
but only at 1:00A (used to see it at 7P) and two other traces at the 300
hole. Then by 6A, it was strong LEK and a lesser IP on my N-S 6-foot
loop. But a big question was the expected viewing of near-local RB and
not seen.

The reason for this concern is not seeing any activity during
night-morning hours for last few days when I'm home. Plus, I made some
moves/clean-up in the shack and switched feed lines around, inside and
out. (Always expect the worst at these times.) So the lack of signals
was my reward? Er, so I guessed.

I'm still getting a feel for LF conditions and properties, other than
summer time QRN. And that's one relief for these finger-freezing months.
But unlike the days when I was on 6 and 2 meters and observed QSB and
skip conditions instantly, here, w/ Argo, it's up to an hour's wait, and
then if a faint trace, the question: Is it a sig or some local noise
track? &#@^%

Oh well, here's hope for tonight. I'm still after BOB, YK and COV.
Shall we roll those dice?
