[Lowfer] Loading Coils 101

A-ha. Bill's pointy thought led to another Coil Building Tip, so uh,
Tip + 3:

After one winds said LowFER coil, has shown it to wife for admiration
and glee, then has same come outside to yard, in front of wood shed, and
hold venerated coil at arm's length--"NO, to the side!"--whilst taking
bow 'n arrow AND SHOOT THE DAMN THING.... This if done with care and
precision, will have the arrow stuck in coil and will serve as axis for
much needed Variometer. Now carefully remove blindfold from spouse.

Now I know why these loop antennas with only 200ft of #12 seem so easy
to 
deal with - in spice of a certain amount of collateral damage from
stray 
arrows! <G>
