[Lowfer] coil guts

Thanks for your responses to whether the coil should be inside the metal
building or not.
From the loading coils I've looked at on several web pages I've noticed
many use 12 or 14 gauge insulated building wire. I can get this stuff,
but I'd have to buy it, which will add about a week to my schedule :(
But I HAVE some smaller gauge wire I got about 30 years ago as a child. A
family friend who worked for the phone company gave it to me as I was
always winding coils for electromagnets, playing with radios, etc.
This phone company wire is smaller gauge -- about 22 -- tinned, and insulated.
It'd be nice if I could use this stuff because I probably have a couple
thousand feet of it.

Any problem using this tinned/smaller gauge wire for my LF loading coil?
Thanks again,
Eric
