I've noticed that the daytime signals of NC and MP follow a similar pattern.
Following a sunrise fade, they peak and hit another fade around 10 AM local
time. Invariably, there is a broad peak centered on noon, usually with the
best daytime signal. I then get a fade, a peak at mid-afternoon (3-4 pm),
and a sunset fade.
This seems to suggest that noontime would be a good target for the winter
2-way contacts we hope to have when the 136 kHz band opens up.
I'd be curious if any others (Lyle?) have noticed this pattern.
