Larry,
>I have been monitoring and capturing for Mitch for the past few days.
>Mitch has a reliable and fairly constant signal here now so I will >switch
>back to 185.300 and capturing WA again now.
Understand the conflict - lot of desire to get a 'feel' for the 137k band. I
think Mitch beat me to the punch on this by only an hour or so. I was way
late in getting this running but wanted to be sure all the loose variables
where eliminated before officially going on line.
>I realize you are cycling two test loops, one bigger then the other. >How
>should your current arrangement differ from the single loop that >you were
>using prior to this test?
I'm sending a repeating four interval pattern: space, loop 1, space, loop 2,
etc. Each interval has the same amount of time, currently 30 sec, but this
time can be changed in a few seconds if you desire. No WA or slant is being
sent but I'm close to 185.300.
What is the directional orientation?
East/West, but plan to rotate the test loop toward you as soon as the signal
level comparison test is complete. The big loop will remain E/W, but the
relative signal strengths will still indicate the improvement.
>Conditions here today are poor with snow on the ground and more >falling.
>Temps in the low 30's now.
Snow arriving here shortly but shouldn't effect the loop currents to any
degree. BTW, "snow on ground and more falling" is GOOD!
Thanks a lot for the help Larry!
Bill
