[Lowfer] GWEN, anyone remember it?

I have a recording of GWEN transmissions around here somewhere, sounds like
packet.  I hear there are a handfull of voice transmission recordings from
these sites as well, but I have yet to get a copy.  There is a GWEN site
about 2 hours drive from me, up and running, or at least on stand by.  A
nice site with a 300' LF tower and the VHF/UHF command/control antenna
mounted on top of a stainless steel (!) light pole near the front gate.
Someone goes out there and services it every so often, and keeps eveything
polished and dusted quite nicely, even the grounds are raked.  The last
person to service the station left the gates unlocked when he left...
