[Lowfer] QTH.NET mail problem

Hi all,

I added the address [email protected] , which forwards to
[email protected] . I hope that this will bypass
the blockage, for those who are blocked because their ISP's
outgoing SMTP server is on the blacklist.

If this causes spam and/or viruses to appear on the
list, the forwarding will be removed, but I will
post a warning before doing that.

I belong to a Yahoo! Groups list that had trouble with
spam, in spite of having a members-only posting policy.
I don't know if spammers found a way to automatically
register for these groups, or if they just signed up
for lots of them by hand. The admin had to remove the
offending "members", and switch to a moderator-approved
sign-up policy. If that is acceptable here, there are
some advantages to Yahoo! Groups, including:
1. Extremely fast.
2. Can post small images, HTML tables, etc.
3. Good automatic archive system.
4. Ability to make files available, e.g. we could
   have a "captures" area.

73,

Stewart KK7KA
