Well, I guess that gets you off the hook. 6-ton wouldn't have.<G>

Curious as to how well a single ended stage works for a line driver at these
freqs - and with that length of line. I'm suggesting this to Mike S for his
exciter. I used to do that all the time but have sort of slipped into a
doubled ended mode in the last few years. I really like to see a line driven
by it's characteristic impedance, in my case I use a 0 ohm output drivers
and a series resistance equal to the line Z. This eliminates ringing on both
positive and negative halves even if the load at the final isn't exactly
equal to the line Z. The penalty is a loss of half the 24v p-p driver
voltage of course.
