My first of the season on 137.

VE3OT was observed in N IL (35 MI S Rockford) about 3AM, though
sketchy. Then, because of the long ID and numerous dropouts, I couldn't
ID it. But when viewed at 6:30AM it was holding nicely, had a full
screen and was ID'd.

Am using the 10 foot, 1-turn loop and Burhans setup, a la Mitch's
depiction.

Been looking for some time and not seeing anything as per the LWCA
schedule. Then I noticed the Argo setup had a -65 offset and had forgot
why I left it that way except that's what I used for summer HiFER stuff.
I set it to zero and restarted Argo. Later I got a hit. Hmm....

This weekend I'll mount the multiturn 6-foot loop for comparisons. It's
been in the garage since April. Also more radial layouts as most are
still coiled about the base of the T loading coil.
