Bill

Glad to help out. Just let me know if you have any tests scheduled and =
I'll make sure it is on. Otherwise it could be off for RX stuff. Roger =
on the effectiveness of the R-75.=20

The light dimmers in my house are terrible noise producers up through =
several hundred kHz and the family has been trained to leave them in the =
off position except for approved times. Luckily, my closest neighbors =
don't use theirs too often either.=20

I should install Powerstats (or are they Variacs) at the dimmer =
locations in my house. Would probably require a rather large hole in the =
wall. =20

  Jay, that "uninvited guest" looks rather familiar. NO it's not me!

  BTW, your signal was very useful yesterday. Some of the discoveries =
were:

  Five hours later (6:30) I arrived home to find the SVM meter pegged on =

  neighborhood light dimmer noise and no VD on the screen. The battery =
wasn't=20
  really down that much even though it had a marginal charge 5 hours =
ealier. I=20
  checked the ARGO recordings and found the noise began 4hrs after the =
start=20
  of the test and at that time there was no drift at all in your =
baseline.

  I switched over to the R-75 and your were, still, almost totally wiped =
out=20
  by the noise. I pushed the noise blanker button and, shazam, the noise =

  dropped to almost nothing, and VD was back to normal on the screen! =
I've=20
  never seen the noise blanker work that well.

  Thanks for the perfect signal for experimentation - low in level and =
minimal=20
  QSB

  Bill
