An e-mail from Bill Bowers confirmed what I already knew: WEB's timer has
been reset to coincide with the top of the hour. WEB is now sending 6 WPM CW
during odd hours (UTC or CST) and QRSS30 during even hours. I was watching
the screen and saw WEB make the transition to QRSS30 at 4 PM CST. 1170 miles
in the daytime is pretty good; now if I could just hear the CW...

Bill e-mail says there is an inch of standing water and mud all around the
transmitter site, and he had to lay down boards to get close enough to push
the reset button. No mention of re-tuning the vertical, by the way.
