I think Steve makes sense on having one common frequency for all. But a
variant might be where it is split geographically by time slots, say
first half-hour eastern, second western. This would call for additional
control for the beacon but an advantage of the "forced" QT is the
ability for a beacon op to also rx the freq. Those near him w/ the
strongest would also be in QT. And if not all could alternate, that
would not wreck it for others that do. It would most matter what the
many of an area do.
Merit? Has it been considered?
