WEB has been sending 6 WPM CW during odd hours (UTC or CST) and QRSS30
during even hours. So far I haven't copied the CW signal by ear, but the
QRSS30 identifier was nice and solid last night. Screen capture at

The receiver used for this capture was an NE602 downconverter, with DL4YHF's
Spectrum Lab acting as the DSP IF. A "dual watch" receiver is possible by
using the stereo processing feature of SpecLab and feeding the downconverter
output into both left and right channels of the sound card. While the left
channel (the upper half of the spectrogram trace) was receiving WEB on
189.950 kHz, the right (lower) channel was monitoring RM on 189.800 kHz. I
had oriented the loop to put RM in the null, so that both signals were
approximately the same strength most of the night. The reason for the
different center frequencies for the spectrogram display, is that I offset
the left and right channel local oscillators. This avoids a minor problem
with "crosstalk" that causes strong signals to appear in both halves of the
spectrogram display.
When I get time, I'll add a description of the dual receive capability to my
web page.
