Is this Lyle in Aitkin? If so can you tell me if Mike is still around. I
have been trying to reach him and can not get an answer.
Thanks
Denise

An early Basic Stamp 1 application note (note #8) is called "Sending
Messages in Morse Code". The notes can be downloaded from
http://www.parallax.com/html_pages/downloads/basicstamps/documentation_basic
_stamp.asp
LowFER beacons BK (currently not on the air) and LEK have used Basic Stamp 1
modules with homebrew sensor interfaces to send temperature and wind
information in Morse code. A few years ago I "upgraded" to a Stamp 2, which
is programmed to accept serial data in a weird format from my Ultimeter
weather station. LEK has been operating intermittently in CW mode this
season on 177.750 kHz, once again sending weather information with the Stamp
2 keyer.
Both DOS and Windows-based programs are available for developing and loading
Stamp applications.
Lyle, K0LR
