TUF-1 mixers supplied
with the Time Machine kit. Ocean State Electronics lists the TUF-3
mixers in their catalog at http://www.oselectronics.com/ose_p82.htm
Lyle I didnt see the power levels of this one. The DBM in my HB converter
would do ,, I think,, 10 Mw out. I need to get some more as they came
from a local's junk box,, were good at LF and MF but as I dont remember
the type
and cant easily see it in the converter.
The objective would be a couple of MWs at LF from the TS 850 mixed down
to freq. I also have a fair stock of MMIC and these would make simple
power
boosters for raising the LO level and are 50 ohm in/out which makes the
DBM happy
I saw a Time machine in operation and as recording of on the air
frequency's are wild
would make a good signal source to use to demo what is on LF for the
local ham clubs
