Well, after complaining for years about the "Vanity" call signs the FCC
issues, I finally decided to make the switch myself. I had been WA1PTC for
33 years and was WN1LHS before that.

But since I have moved into an area where few hams know me, it was safe to
make the change.

The new callsign is unique to me and I am pretty proud that I thought of it
before anyone else did. Unfortunately, it is also like one of those posters
that were popular years ago where if you crossed your eyes and wished really
hard an image of an F-15 would pop out of the poster. Keep that in mind.
