Run HF, a few hundred watts, any frequency though I have had best luck
around 18 MHz.  I have done well with as little as 10W but 300 nuked them.
It also works to fry cell phones, light up flourescent bulbs, set off most
every car, house and bank alarm within a few hundred yards, draw arcs off
birds...  the list goes on.  Started having fun with this in the 80's with
all the new junk on the market, it only gets more fun!
