Them Mega watt biggies need to be on cycle and phased exactly
if the phase leads or lags mucho sparks fer sure. Takes time and
stability to bring them back up to cycle again to reconnect them to the
grid
the problem wit the plants is when something producing lots of energy all
of a sudden
having no place for that to go. Yep it is just electricity but the
coal/gas/nuke
is putting out the power and something has to happen to lessen that. You
can scram a nuke
but how do you control a coal plant " Henry close the damper " Or "Tilly
Bolt the door " HAR

I actually feel where I live that Baghdad has better service. In the last
9 months have had
many L O N G outages and just within this neighborhood. Problem IMHO came
about
when Gov Ridge deregulated ,, allowing the companies that produce to
split off their
distribution. As a result the generators are making all the money and non
for servicing the lines
so My rates havent come down and there never was any rush to competition
and all I have
is less reliability than I had 5 year ago and probably lots of noise from
BBPL in the future
