I also belong to an amateur telescope maker's mailing list ... those guys 
are going on and on about how nice it is that the power is out.  Some are 
showing their families stars that they never knew were there.  Wish I were 
up there ... I'll bet it is nice.

Too bad it can't be permanent :)
