Just got power back. Exactly eight hours.

At least the temp outside is 72 and not 12.

Tried listening to the radio (theoretically, it should have been quiet) but
my neighbor's generator, combined with the generator at the near-by fire
department created a the sound of a Husky chainsaw attacking a mighty
redwood.

OT: I got a chance to dig out this 1KW power inverter that I bought for my
RV and never installed. Hooked it up to the car battery and it kept the
refrigerator, two 75 watt lights on my sign and several 60 watt bulbs
working the whole time. I was really impressed as I thought that the start
current for the fridge would trip the thing.
