I see all sorts of strange stuff around 640 kHz. KFI is distinctive, but
there are some other wavering signals as well. My "official" capture is at
www.qsl.net/k0lr/KFI.jpg To satisfy Bill A's request for a midnight shot,
I have posted one at www.qsl.net/k0lr/KFI-midnight.jpg The actual time of
the capture is hard to read in the compressed screenshot, but it was
12:41:08 CDT (0741 UTC).
In the midnight shot, there is an almost sawtooth-like signal near the
high-frequency limit of KFI's carrier swing. With so many strong signals
present, there are also lots of "ghosts", so it's possible that some of this
stuff originated from carriers just outside the Argo window.
No daytime capture of KFI here -- it faded out at about 0700 local time.
