Looks like I missed a lot of action. Maybe some square wave reports and
Bill A's new friend Lealand? Our mail server was down for a few days
while we updated and reconfigured the local network. I've received no
qth.net or groups.yahoo messages for the last few days even though the
local server was up so it looks like I'll have to resubscribe to all
remailers.
Anyway I'll claim the square wave. Not real happy about the freq
stability so I may call it a wireless thermometer. It's been running
for a few weeks. However the antenna wasn't tuned until this past
Sunday. Details are on the Hifer web page:

The Epson oscillator would have been a better way to go, definitely
cheaper than the $15 crystal. Just wanted to try a different approach.
At least now I've got a signal on without using the SLM tracking gen
which got zapped last summer.
