Other than the obvious weak signal advantage (in the 10-12 dB range), it
makes it possible for guys to do screen captures which can be evaluated
later. I frequently run captures during the day when I'm at work, and look
at them in the evening when I have time. While you can certainly record .wav
files of CW signals, the screen capture method is very simple and effective.
