Thank you so much for the pictures and allowing me to relive the good old
days.It's different when you can see the pictures instead of trying to
visualise what something looks like, no wonder the guys called it "Gods
country" no one in their right mind would want it. I met one of the guys in
person that was from North Syracuse and was employed by General Electric.I
can remember him saying that 1 year up there was about all a guy could
stand and still remain sane.
I used to run phone patches along with W2FB (now a SK) for the Nuns that
were down in Peru to their Mother Superior in Syracuse. Those were the days
when a person really felt that he was making good use of his ham license
and station.
I put the pictures in save so I can look at them time and time again, thank
you so much.
