The transformer is a small core from a dead computer power supply.  4
turns on the core in series with the loop/capacitor circuit.  16 turns
on the secondary which connects to 200 feet of 75 ohm coax with a 1:1
isolation transformer in the shack.  The WWVB signal is so strong most
of the time the signal can be displayed directly on a scope.  This is my
poor man's frequency calibrator. At least until the GPS units get below
$100 :)
