D'oh! Hit the 'send' button prematurely. Meant to include the caveat that
while a regen will not likely have the selectivity or stability to separate
the 'loopers' around dot3 nor be good for QRSS, it will do fine for by-ear
copy of CW beacons at normal speeds and the sensitivity of a good one is
more than adequate for serious DX. Also meant to include the following links

While these ckts. were intended for higher frequencies, there's no reason
why appropriate tuned ckt. values couldn't be substituted for LF use.
