Some good ideas bouncing around

Keep in mind the old hockey puck caps that consist of a ceramic 
body finished off with  cast aluminium end caps. These can be had at
hamfests
for a couple of bucks and are rated for service like this

I have been buying them when I see them. still around but you have to
hunt them down
just dont buy them all    HAR
