I'm sorry, Lyle, but I gotta say it again: these guys are right. It was
YOUR site that I found when trying to learn, "what is this LowFER thing?"
It was YOUR site that had the easy protoboard transmitter project (replete
with careful detailed information for the beginner, clear schematics,
parts layout for the way-beginner, and all projects have a parts list from
in-business suppliers).
Your site has more advanced projects as the beginner starts to grow. You
have technical articles that you have written on many sites.
To me personally you have been a great help ... you provided patient,
detailed direction both on and off the list. Your emails are so complete
they continue to be a reference source for me -- I refer to stuff you sent
me in them all the time as I try to do more (learn to measure what I'm
doing, etc).
While this reflector was a big help, and I couldn't have got going without
them either, it is to YOU that I owe getting started. I never would have
got off the ground without you.
