I run QRSS and CW all year around. CW for the locals and QRSS for the
longhaul when the lightning is down enough to receive.

This is why I was asking about the offlist contacts. I had been wondering
if moving to regular CW for the summer would be a wise move.

Is this a standard move for some of you in the summer?

I'm setting up my medfer to cycle QRSS3 for 30 minutes and then 8 WPM CW
for 30 minutes, but I didn't think this made sense for the lowfer.

I may just enable my 8 WPM message on the lowfer in a few days ... but
right now I'm still holding out hope for a few narrow band contacts ...
