Thanks for the QSL link! Quite a number of good projects there.

On the 13.8 VDC power supply project: I can see it's impossible to get 17 
volts by simple combining of the +12v and +5v outputs. 24V at high current 
should be available if the two diodes supplying the -12v output are replaced 
with the same type that are used in the +12v circuit. The output connection 
would then be -12v to +12v, floating the normal return connection.
