Yes - it's always nice to have a regular beacon that you can check - even
with poor conditions.... I always worry that my receiving antennas aren't
working - and need a regular station to check with.
I usually do it with an NDB at the low end.   Even CLB on 216 - which comes
in day and night.

Right now - using new computer switching supply - 12 volts at 6Amps.
