Today I drove around with my gps receiver and found 3 non-directional
beacons I've been hearing. This is the first time I've seen these, other
than pictures.
They each had an antenna similar to the flat tops I've seen on some lowfer
websites.
I like this and could see trying one of these next (not REAL soon...but
next).
Those of you operating flat tops: how are you figuring the flat top into
the part 15 regulations? The ones I've seen would seem to exceed the
limits.
I've seen some discussion on verticals and loops, but what about flat top
verticals?
