Re: Reception Reports Over Night
Weather here was sunny and 60s, calm most of yesterday, then late
afternoon it dropped to 40s, a hopeful sign of better listening times.
Things started poorly, nothing at 185.3, no MP at 137 and nothing from
up north at 7P. Then at 10P saw signs of LEK in multi mode and a trace
where BRO is found. By midnight, LEK was almost gone but BRO was coming
thru FB in 60 sec mode on the vertical. I slept through most of the
morning and when I next checked at 5:45A both were reduced to traces.
A last check for MP on 137 at about 7AM showed nothing on the 10-foot
loop or the vert. It started raining at this time.
I'm not seeing the strong activity in the 5-7AM period that was there
at peak times, and sometimes like now none at all.
