Ah, yes. Now why didn't I think of him. Yes, he not only had a reported
grand signal but his presence on this list was thought provoking. As a
LF newbie some of the issues he discussed with others here were an
inspiration for me--and I'm sure others. Had a swell Web site too. I'll
bet he reads this list now and then if only for the habit.

The other old timer I never had a chance to hear was Bill "Mr Ferrite"
Bowers. What a builder/experimenter! My hat is off for him. Still see
his presence in the Lowdown, however. "Thanks for the thoughts, Bill
[Bowers]"

I'll drop Cantrell a note and if I hear something I'll report back.
Mean time, looks like I'll be haulin' chicken wire home for that coup
I've been tellin' the wife I've always wanted to make for her. <g>
