Hi Tom: Yes, I have used it, and also built the multi-stage input filter,
which I can switch in and out. The converter works very well - with the
exception of the oscillator. It is excellent for QRSS3 and NDB work, but
when I try QRSS30 and 60, I get a very bad drift, resulting in the signal
actually moving right off the screen during a long or overnight session.
If I can cure that problem - then I would use it regularly for QRSS30 work.
I think I might try Lyle's thermistor circuit - on the xtal, whenever I
get a free moment. 

The nice thing about using the converter is that I can opt to switch in the
preamp (10 dB) on my receiver, since I am tuning around 4MHz. The preamp in
the receiver is disabled when I am receiving LF directly.

Otherwise a very nice converter, with good sensitivity, and the input filter
really is sharp !
