Thanks for the HMY info.  I have been looking at Lyle's site and others and
hope to listen for LEK and XSR tonight, but there will probably be too much
lightning.  I've built a 6AQ5 and a 6V6 oscillator/transmitter from some old
Handbook designs.  All my crystals from 160M up oscillate, but not my 100,
179, or 200 KHz crystals that do oscillate in a crystal checker/frequency
calibrator.

I've enjoyed Lyle's site and several others.  Do most LOWFERS/MEDFERS comply
with Part 15?  It seems that 100mw on 500 to 1700kHz to a 10' antenna is
especially burdensome.  I think my Heath Cantenna would work almost as well!
