Lyle is on 185.2kc in CW. If your filter were wide you would hear him at
185.5kc. I did before and had to switch to a 20hz filter to find out exactly
where he was transmitting on. I plan on using the L400 with my ATS909
portable. I do have to do a mod to use the external antenna jack on LF
first, but that will be easy. I use ARGO for everything as it is so darn
simple to use. I tried Spectran once before and it conflicted with my
laptops soundcard.

I think you will enjoy the results with the LF-400 Mike. I have used
it for about a year with great distances to report from NDB's.
By the way, I just hooked up my computer and radio with Spectran
yesterday, and last night I could hear and see a very weak CW signals
around 185.5Khz and 181.0Khz. Just could not dial Spectran in well
enough to get steady readable signals. Any suggestions? Was anybody
transmitting around those frequencies last night?
Thanks,
Steven BZS 187.302Khz
