Hi guys,

I have always been interested in NDBs, so I started reading about
experimental low frequency beacons. Was wondering what type of resources do
I have to sink into starting a beacon? Also, my receiver is a Kenwood
TS570D(G). Any good links to point me to as far as transmitting antennas?
I heard that using loops is a great thing for receive, but transmitting is a
big no-no.

Please excuse the ignorance. I am used to the "higher" bands :-)

BTW... just to make sure, I am located in Hilliard, OH and I picked up DDP
on 391khz. The database I have says that it is Dorado Field in San Juan PR.
Is this correct? Of course it was pretty faint, but copyable. I wanted to
confirm that indeed it is the DDP beacon and not a local (somewhere in OH).
