It's interesting to compare my long key-down segments against the mysteri=
ous carrier (MS). Look at your 3am capture. The two signals appear quite =
similar in the way the varying ionospheric bounce effects them. I think w=
e can safely say there is no modulation in the MS, although I used to thi=
nk so.
