[Lowfer] The 185.3** group

Another night of BS at the car dealer. Unfortunately we will have to go in
there again tomorrow evening so there won't be any new hardware in the tuner
box. Maybe Saturday everything will mellow out so I can actually do
something that I like to do and that will be getting this beacon running
right for a change. Please have patience as I would have had it fixed a long
time ago if I had the time to do it. I wonder if Archie got his loop up
today. Everything else is running and ready to go the last I heard. My
comment "Till she smokes" was because of the huge loss/mismatch out there,
the final opens the NPN transistor every so often. I just put a new one in
there to get it back on the air for now. One of these days, it will work as
Bill intended it to do and then I can send in some useful data for his
forth-coming book on loops or something like that. In the mean time it is
pounding out a weak signal.
