For sure. So don't sweat the small stuff. These are my rules concerning the 
loop itself:

1. Make the area as large as possible.
2. Select a conductor having the smallest possible Rac that your pocket book 
can handle at the freq of use. Conductors can be paralleled if spaced at 
least 1/2".
3. Use different conductor types in the same loop if this lowers the total 
Rac.
4. Run the lower horizontal portion at least 6ft above ground.
5. Run the conductor over and in contact with any number of trees at  the 
upper portions. In this case, however, the loop can not be grounded.
6. Space the lower portions at least a foot from tree trunks.
7. Stay away from large metal objects, guy wires from existing antennas, 
power lines, etc.
