[Lowfer] TX Loop....

Bill,
Yes, the loop is vertical plane and the apex is approximately 45' up. I have
it fed with 75 ohm cable at one of the corners. The loop is 6' off the
ground.
With these gale winds today, shooting an arrow over the tree tops was quite
aggravating!

Denis,

for LF?
Well it's all pretty simple on paper: A mater of total loop area (2500 sq ft
is std), and the AC resistance of the conductor (1.3 ohms max for #12ga).
Keep the thing at least 6ft off the ground. Hopefully you can point it in
the direction of the viewers. Traditional isolating the loop from the trees
is 'bunk'.

This is in a vertical plane, right? Give it a shot!

PS: Give me some measurements and I will tell you what you can expect
relative to the 50/50 loop with various conductors.Get more from the Web.
