Re Ramsey Service Monitor: I used one of them when I worked on the Rail
Road, we used at the Deisel Shop because no one would miss it if it got ran
over bay a Locomaotive. Which I think it eventually did.

I have in the past purchased a few items of their so called high end test
equipment such as a service monitor and paging encoders  most of which I had
to return because of poor quality. Just my opinion but let the buyer beware.
