On Lyle's line noise problems:

1) When I first heard about it from his post last week, I thought: "Oh
no! Of all LowFERs, Lyle had a visually pristine location and no city
noise. Now it's ruined by an efficiency move by the power co."

2) Later, as Lyle further described his analysis and investigation, I
thought: "Who better than to have this problem that many city LowFERs
wallow in." :-}

3) Today we learn: (a) how to look for noise at home and near by,
(b)who to talk to at the PC, (c) of some solutions: Bypassing the main
entrance service lines, Hmm! ? !

Well I truly hope the PC can do some good by installing one of their
filters. Can't wait for that report, Lyle.
