One other remote meter reading that I mentioned a year or so ago on the
LWCA board and is becoming quite prevelant in rural areas is the

Actually, it is probably PSK or something. This actually seems to
operate in the sub-100 Hz region. A friend of mine (WA7X) has one at
his cabin (wa7x.com) and we have tried to find it by feeding the AC
power into a sound card (using a transformer, of course...) but haven't
located it yet.
This device is readily identifiable - as it has a turtle logo on it.

If it *is* one of these animals, and it *is* causing QRM, maybe there is
