From Steve:
If you have written a true 3 to 1 version that works please fill me in!
I have not re-written the software of the LW-MAX. I don't own a VB compiler.
What I did was to write a macro script for a macro play (pick your
favorite). These programs allow you to perform a series of actions on your
computer, record the actions and then play it back. Many allow you to edit a
macro script.
The macro script looks something like this:
Left button down
wait 90 seconds
left button up
wait 120 seconds
etc.
loop to beginning
If you turn this macro on (so it plays) and then hover the mouse pointer
over the "KEY" button on the LW-MAX console you will generate code as if you
sat there and keyed the transmitter with the mouse yourself.
Now the QRSS30/QRSS90 trick (TMO/EIS):
I am so surprised that I got several notes asking how I did that. I have
*GOT* to start labeling my humor.
The dashes (- - - - - -) are 90 seconds long. In QRSS30 mode the call
would appear as TMO. But in QRSS90 mode they would appear as dots so the
call would be EIS.
This would not work if I use a call with any dots (I prefer "dits") in it.
