Lewis,

Great! I'll move up to my freq allocation tonight about midnight. Should be
able to use my not-so-accurate freq counter to show me when I have increased
the freq by .5Hz. I'll need some assistance from the 'lookers' to tell me
how close I am.
>But isn't their someone on 184.29??.
You mean 185.29?? right? Yah, there's some other .299ers..... but they don't
count!<G> No, seriously, I think you will be out of their hair if you are at
185.2997. Mike, the Inn Keeper, is pretty flexible because he has a trimmer
on his xtal osc. (His LW-max takes him all over the band, anyway).
>I calibrated ARGO to WWV on 60 Hz.
>the drift doesn't show on 30 sec only on 60 or higher.
>I had ordered a higher freq. but had to settle with what they sent me.
>apparently they aren't to accurate.when run at 5 volts they are real stable
>though. Please advise Sorry for the intrusion.
Not a problem. Wait till this segment of the band really gets jumping as the
'hot season' is upon us and more discover how easy it is to sling a loop
wire over the highest tree and get out a thousand miles!
(Never a failed oportunity to promote loop antennas! <G>)
