OK. I will put a scope lead together in the morning. Who is on 185.2kc or
slightly under it??? I can't get a complete ID yet. IP is very strong when
he doesn't fade.

You can use a couple of 2fr wires with clip leads connected to a BNC
connector for a start. The 1 meg and 30 pf load from the scope input amp
won't effect the transmitter circuit THAT much. You always have to account
for the load any piece of test equipment has on the circuit under test. Even
a 10X scope probe has a 10 meg 13pf loading effect on the circuit -
sometimes this is even too much.
